Why we're here
Operational AI Systems was born out of a love of AI technologies and the enjoyment of creation. We build the tooling, agents, and software that quietly do their job once they're in place. AI has finally landed in a form businesses can actually use; the work, and the fun, is making it land properly.
The team
Small enough to stay sharp on every project; deep enough to take on substantial builds without bringing in strangers mid-project. Growth is careful, not rushed.

I lead on architecture, AI agents, and bespoke software, end-to-end product ownership and the back-end calls. My background is platform design, custom-building online training platforms since before the pandemic; shortly after I built corporate-styled avatars for SME internal and marketing comms, before a year of teaching others how to build agents.

Nate has always been in media and marketing, the ideas guy on the team and the one who knows how to wrap the work up in beauty. Ali holds the backend together, distributed systems, queues, integrations, the bits that have to keep working when nobody is watching. Years of production experience across Python, Node, and the cloud; the engineer most clients never need to meet because the systems he builds quietly do their job.

Senior AI / ML Engineer
Sohaib leads on the model side, embeddings, retrieval, fine-tuning, and the agentic patterns that make AI features feel reliable. ML research background, hands-on with everything from classical NLP to modern LLM tooling. The one we lean on when an AI workflow has to behave under real load.
What working with us looks like
One direct point of contact, no account-management layer. Discovery first, scope before code, fixed quotes where we can give them. Sometimes the right answer is a custom build, sometimes it's configuring a tool you already pay for. The conversation is what tells us which.
